How to avoid Time Zone confusion?

When booking appointments Google Calendar for example, will automatically change the time zone according to the country you are in and create an "event" which is shown in the confirmation email. The time zone conversion is usually a default setting (for example in Google and Mac calendars) and therefore only you can change the settings from the device you are using.

 

To prevent any time zone confusion, it is important that you only take note of the appointment time shown in the actual email.
